Michael Lafuente started his career as an assistant to a portrait photographer. During those early years, Michael had the daily practice of setting up a photo studio in the morning and printing the photographer’s color work in the afternoon with an old school enlarger and trays full of photo chemicals. This laid Michael’s foundation of image capture and manipulation which spurred a career in visual effects, digital intermediate color correction and cinema production. Since those early days, he has helped deliver thousands of high-end commercials, major music videos as well as Oscar winning feature films for several major studios.
Additionally, Michael has hands-on experience with directing his own award winning short films, documentaries and commercials for several major powersports brands. He also holds several technical patents for his work in AI image manipulation.
